Fat Dissolving
PCDC Lipolysis
This Fat Dissolving treatment consists of multiple injections of the FDA approved medication known as Phosphatidylcholine Deoxycholate (PCDC). This medication is injected locally into targeted treatment areas. When injected, the fat cells absorb the PCDC and become inflamed, harden and break down/dissolve over the next 4-5 weeks. Once broken down, the fat cells are eliminated via the body's natural processes. Most clients require 2-4 treatments to achieve desired results. Treatments are completed in 5-6 week intervals.
What to Expect
The skin area is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream applied to the area where the fat dissolve is to take place. Serial injections in the areas of the fat pockets are administered. Expect some mile bruising, swelling or burning sensation. You may also get tingling and/or numbness which can last for several weeks. Expect the swelling to be noticable to others for aboutn 1-2 weeks. Over the next several weeks (4-8) you will notice a decrease in swelling and then destruction of fat cells.
Multiple Areas May Be Treated
You can use fat dissolve injections on virtually anywhere on the body where there are stubborn pockets of fat. The best results are seen with 2-3 treatments spaced 5-6 weeks apart.
